LALITHA SAHASRANAMAM

महागणेश निर्भिन्न विघ्नयन्त्रा प्रहर्षिता (78)
Maha Ganesha Nirbhinna Vighnayantra Praharshita (78)
Meaning:
When Maha Ganesha, split open (nirbhinna) the Jaya Vighna Yantra, Devi was delighted and that happiness (harshita) lasted forever (praharshita).
Interpretation:
Bhinnam in Sanskrit means an item broken into small pieces and nirbhinna is the process of breaking a particular thing into small pieces. Here, Maha Ganapathy has been described to have broken the Yantra into several pieces. Maha Ganapathy was sent to the battlefield with the specific task to destroy the Jaya Vighna Yantra, which was evoked by Vishukra, as it was causing a lot of hurdles in the Devi's camp. He successfully accomplished the assignment given to him. Devi was pleased at his success.
The Battle with Bhandasura
Taking blessings from his mother, Lord Ganesha went about the task of destroying the Jaya Vighna Yantra. Upon seeing Ganesha, the Shakti Sena came out of its mesmerized state and became active again.
Maha Ganesha then created seventy five crores elephant headed warriors (the astonishing figure is as per the narrative given in Lalithopakhyanam) all resembling himself and appointed Amoda, Pramoda, Sumukha, Durmukha, Vighna and Vighnaharta as their commanders. The army of Ganesha pounced upon the thirty akshauhinis of Bhanda's sena and massacred them.
To counter Maha Ganesha, Vishukra with his Mayajal power created an opposite number to Ganesha, an elephant-head demon called Gajasura full of negative energies and evil elements. Maha Ganesha and Gajasura had a long drawn combat and ultimately it was Lord Ganesha who was able to prevail upon the Asura and vanquished him totally. He and his army also destroyed the Asura's seven akshauhinis of army.
Now, Maha Ganesha gathered the Jaya Vigna Yantra and just pulverized it with his strong tusk and along with it, all the evil forces present in it and threw the powder into the air. He then returned to his Mother and informed her about all the happenings. Devi Lalitambika was extremely delighted and she blessed Ganesha and announced that henceforth he would be the first one to be worshiped among all Devas.
Author's Notes:
The beauty of this Namah is it speaks about creation of Vighnam - hindrance / obstacle and at the same time Nirvighnan - to remove such hindrances or obstacles.
It should be understood that even though the credit of destroying the Jaya Vighna Yantra is given to Lord Maha Ganesha, it was actually Devi who destroyed it - by providing the impetus, the power, the strength, the energy, to Ganesha through her blessings.
It's Devi who creates Maya and it's Devi again who destroys Maya.
Maya (ignorance) is the cause of all Vighnams. It can be overcome and pure knowledge acquired by devotees only by praying to Devi and meditating upon her.
